Code of Conduct for Students:

The college finds it necessary to adopt a unique and value based codes for the overall development of the students personality. All students enrolled in the college shall abide by the rules laid down for the smooth functioning of the college.

  1. Students are expected to maintain discipline and polished manner of behavior inside as well as outside the college campus.
  2. Students shall abide by the rules and regulation of the college and should act in a way that highlights the discipline and decorum of the college.
  3. A six day working schedule from Monday to Saturday (8.00 AM to 4.00 PM) is followed. The college begins with the state and National anthem to promote a sense of patriotism in students.
  4. A minimum of 75% attendance is compulsory for every student to appear for the semester examinations.
  5. All the students are expected to be present in the class in time. Late coming will result in loss of attendance for the corresponding hour.
  6. The gates remain closed so that no student shall leave the campus before the stipulated time.
  7. All the students should attend the college in uniform and shall wear their student ID cards.
  8. Political activity of any form is not entertained within the college campus.
  9. Students are not permitted to use mobile phones within the campus. The teaching staff is empowered to confiscate mobile phones found with student’s violating the rule.
  10. Consumption of intoxicants in any form is strictly prohibited.

Code of Conduct for Teachers:

The college envisages that faculty members shall be the Role Model for the students to follow. He / she expected to be a mentor, facilitator, and a guide to the students.

  1. Teacher should maintain absolute integrity.
  2. Teacher must show devotion to his profession.
  3. Teaching plan of the allotted subjects should be prepared by the teachers.
  4. Teachers should maintain ‘dairy’ and roll call register.
  5. The teacher must utilize one hour time of the lecture in the class.
  6. The teacher must solve the doubts and questions of the students.
  7. Every teacher should give freedom to the students to participate in any curricular, co-curricular, extra-curricular, extension activities in or outside the campus.

Code of Conduct for Non-Teaching Staff:

  1.  Peons should ensure cleanliness of respective class rooms, staff rooms, and laboratory of the college.
  2. Lab attendants should ensure the cleanliness and keep ready the respective
    laboratory for the practical.
  3. The administrative staff should ensure the smooth functioning of the student’s admission, examination issues and college/institution administration. 

Code of Conduct for Principal:

  1. The Principal should take all necessary disciplinary actions as and when required to maintain the discipline in the college.
  2. The Principal should encourage faculty members to update their knowledge by attending seminars/workshops/conferences.
  3. The Principal should encourage faculty members to publish text books, research papers in reputed National / International / Journals / Conferences.

The Principal should function as a mediator between the college and the Institution stakeholders.
